a short rant

I just want to say that I am so sick of hearing [Christ-following] people say that the only thing that matters in life is what makes you happy. Is that really what the Bible teaches us? If I've gotten anything from God's Word, it's that life. is. not. about. us. We are not larger than life and we are not larger than Jesus and if that's the way it is then Jesus had no reason to die on the cross for us. He didn't die for us that we could live life whatever way we wanted to, only living to please ourselves. LIFE IS BIGGER THAN YOU AND ME!!!!!! If we all could just remember that and try to live more for each other than for ourselves, I think life could be so great and so different. Life is so small when we make it all about us.
